About the Celani Replication Experiment

Our main thrust so far is the replication of Francesco Celani's treated wire experiment.  Here are some of the important documentation behind our effort.

About our Replication

The purpose of our initial replication is to convince ourselves that the effect is real and that we can re-create it.  If we convince others with our first replication, that's great, but it is not the most important goal.  There are innumerable questions about Celani's wire and the phenomenon of it producing heat that demand an almost infinite number of variations on the experiment.  Our aim is to develop the apparatus and the methodology to demonstrate to our own satisfaction that this is real and worth the effort of facilitating the widespread replications.

We did not recreate the apparatus exactly as he had it partly at Celani's own urging that we make it safer.  We added a safety shield and used quartz glass so tolerate higher temperatures.  We are using a power vs temperature calibration method to quantify the heat produced instead of the Stephan-Boltzman based calculations that Celani did to quantify the heat lost via radiation. Calibrating with this method is simpler to understand and takes into account both the radiative losses and the convective heat flows.  Despite this we will also be fitting the Stephan-Boltzman calculations to our results as a seperate verification of output power and to replicate and validate Celani's orignal experiment.

There is some debate about the merits of using fused quartz glass instead of borosilicate glass because quartz is much more transparent to infrared.  We have settled on using borosilicate, but it will require a slight rework of the flanges

We are using treated wire provided by Celani.  We are not replicating the process of treating the wires.  Information about that part of the experiment will have to come from Celani and his sponsors.

Wiring diagram of instrumentation

Version 2.0 - Modified 29 Oct to allow a few milliamps of current through the wires at all times so we can get a valid resistivity measurement throughout the experiment.

Calibration Plan

We are doing a thorough characterization of the apparatus in any state we may wish to detect excess energy.  As we do the calibrations, the data results will be linked from the document below so you can watch the progress as closely as you want.

** PLEASE NOTE:  Even if the data table indicates excess energy, it is likely an experimental artifact of the input power changing or an incorrect calibration factor.  Do not get too excited till we validate that it is stable and working or announce a result.   The data is updated every minute or two from the laptop administrating the experiments The viewer is still in development, so it is very rudimentary, but the data is available.  We will be improving the user interface as soon as we can.

Basically, if you are a freelancer, you have to keep checking freelance project sites.
The Photoview program can be bought either from Solid - Works or
using their resellers. At this moment, Auto - CAD only
runs under Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Making sure that the trainer is well trained will assure correct instruction for designers.
Also bear in mind that new releases are produced every year
so it is imperative that you stay current on any changes or updates.
You can use either from the ways to confirm the quality with the picture and assess any quick alterations in it.

of mechanical drawing. The Photoview program
are available either from Solid - Works or off their resellers.
So there's simply no limit to how much one can possibly make
money from long as you think you are able to provide great
value on the clients, you're making lots of money simply by being a freelance Solid
- Works user.
