Welcome

The Martin Fleischmann Memorial Project is a group dedicated to researching Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (often referred to as LENR) while sharing all procedures, data, and results openly online. We rely on comments from online contributors to aid us in developing our experiments and contemplating the results. We invite everyone to participate in our discussions, which take place in the comments of our experiment posts. These links can be seen along the right-hand side of this page. Please browse around and give us your feedback. We look forward to seeing you around Quantum Heat.

Join us and become part of the project. Become one of the active commenters, who question our work and suggest next steps.

Or, if you are an experimenter, talk to us about becoming an affiliated lab and doing your work in a Live Open Science manner.

Yes. Also don't ignore the possibility of rectification which will give Dc component from even symmetrical waveforms (though I agree asymmetric will have larger effect).

As you say all that is needed is to measure temp after T seconds gap in HF stimulus where T is chosen to be some large enough number of electrical time constants in the DC amp circuitry, but smaller than the thermal time constant. Shound be possible.

Brillouin do not state in their paper that they do this (or at least I have not seen such a statement).

I don't believe I've read anything about that in the papers either. But thinking about it just now, Godes has done experiments turning the HFAC off and on. There would be a clear drop in the temp data that would be faster than can actually happen if the temp gain is from induced current. I doubt he would miss something so obvious.

He says the reaction responds quickly to stimulus on/off. Question is whether temp time constant is obviously longer than electrical time constant.

And my experience is that everyone (certainly me) misses obvious things sometimes.

Yes, no doubt about that. Hopefully, the testing at SRI would reveal that problem, and I also hope the public would be made aware of a negative result. That's another thing that's great about the MFMP.

We are very impressed with the quality and frequency of contributors to the effort. Analysis, research and suggestions have really helped us advance our work and we are aware that a number of other research groups follow the twists and turns of our exploration also, so people are not just contributing to MFMP but to the wider advancement of this science at the same time.

Also the complete absence of needless negativity. We have yet to delete one comment because of a trolling nature. Even when comments are critical they have had merit to them.

It is nice to see such a community effort, and your efforts as a team have been phenomenal and fast paced. Keep up the good work!
