Welcome

The Martin Fleischmann Memorial Project is a group dedicated to researching Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (often referred to as LENR) while sharing all procedures, data, and results openly online. We rely on comments from online contributors to aid us in developing our experiments and contemplating the results. We invite everyone to participate in our discussions, which take place in the comments of our experiment posts. These links can be seen along the right-hand side of this page. Please browse around and give us your feedback. We look forward to seeing you around Quantum Heat.

Join us and become part of the project. Become one of the active commenters, who question our work and suggest next steps.

Or, if you are an experimenter, talk to us about becoming an affiliated lab and doing your work in a Live Open Science manner.

In case you did not know already, there will be an event about LENR this coming Monday at the EU which is announced here,

http://www.e-catworld.com/2013/05/eu-parliament-to-host-meeting-on-fleischmann-pons-effect/

In order to have some representation by the people there, our very own Mathieu Valat is attending, whilst the expense is to be borne by the MFMPs limited resources, we feel it is important that we are present to put across our findings, insight and up and coming activities that everyone can have the joy of participating in.

Hopefully some attendees would like to come and visit one of our experimental sites in order to get a better understanding of the kind of work that is involved. Maybe, just maybe, we can convince them to support our effort in some way.

If you have any questions you want asked, please let us know below.

UPDATE#1 - Venue and meet and greet

Mathieu has said he is willing to meet and greet people 1 hour before the event and for only 30 mins, please contact us by clicking on the green "+" to the right and state who you are and that you wish to meet.

The event is free registration but the deadline has sadly passed, but you might still give it a try and you might get lucky. The form here has all the required information about the venu and timings.

For those interested:
US cells and CTC calorimeter live data is now live again.
EU cells data is still catching up.

We are working on it. Most other sites are blog and response in this field, or search and interpret (for scientific papers - which are often mind numbingly tedious to grasp). This site works good on mobile (now that we have a responsive logo) as well as desktop and all the key functions work, like contact form, forum, comments, galleries, donations. We just need to make it really easy to access the experiments, status and key data etc.

We are doing something different, there is nothing to emulate, so we are having to define as we go forward. Thank you for our patience.

The web site was reasonable easy to follow during initial Celani US experiment. It was still ok when the EU lab opened for business because both were similar. However, now that the number of experiments exploded I can't figure out what's happening (for instance, why was the concentric test's excess power invalid). I'd rather have the experimenters experiment and not web develop but perhaps they could maintain a simple summary post. Anything that would provide a single source of context would be great.

He's saying that the website is hard and confusing to navigate, to which I would agree. Many changes could be performed to improve that. This has to be discussed in detail on a separate venue with some guarantees of prompt feedback from the MFMP team, though.

Quoting frasp:
If your plan is to get people interested in this, you really need to Shape up!

Frasp, the people at MFMP do not owe us anything. However I hear what you're saying. I've been following progress on this site since inception and I am disappointed by the choices made and the lack of any substantial findings. What I have learnt though is it is incredibly difficult to measure heat and no one method will ever satisfy everyone!

I'm really starting to give up on this. Where do i click to follow, in real time, the latest experiments? Where do I find a column that hints about P/Xs? Where are the frequent posts?

Since I'm a retard when it comes to the science behind this and just curious and interested, I honestly do think that you are turning this show into something for the interested few...

There is no overview or navigability when I come to the site. When i click things, I dont get what I expect and if I want what I expect I have to dig around for it. If your plan is to get people interested in this, you really need to Shape up!

@ Robert Greenyer

Thanks for checking! Never been to Brussels but now i have a good reason to check it out. I will join the meeting if i can still register.
Would be nice to have a small chat with Mathieu before the meeting. If he has the time and likes to do that, why not. Is it possible to send me some contact information to make the arrangements?

@Roderick Vos

Good news from Mathieu!

"Sure [people can meet me] an hour before, no more than 30min.
It is free to register. I'll send you the form tomorrow."

@Ecco

That is a good observation. Excepting the in development Thoriated Tungsten + H High Pressure Mizuno we have in progress, all the rest of our wire and powder experiments are based on Ni + H.

So we might be in a good position to say we are offering research in a different space.

I think main proponents at the EU parliament meeting are going to push funding towards Pd-D LENR research. As highlighted by veteran Peter Gluck, even though this might still prove scientifically worth, it's an industrially and commercially dead path for LENR. Focusing on Ni-H systems would allow more widespread, extensive experimentation at the same cost.

This point has to be raised, even though it might gain you some enemies.

@Roderick Vos

I have emailed Mathieu to check, I think not, but let's see, there may also be the option to meet him and/or others before or afterwards, I'll get back to you.

I would like to know if the meeting is open for the public. I live not that far away from Brussels and would like to know if i can attend the meeting.
