SEO agency for small business, worth it?
Guys, so I've been going back and forth on whether to bring in an external SEO agency or keep trying to handle it in house. The problem is the in house approach takes time nobody really has and the results have been pretty flat. Anyone gone the agency route for a smaller business and found it actually moved the needle?

The in house versus agency question usually comes down to whether you have someone who can dedicate real time to it consistently. SEO done halfway produces halfway results. A decent agency brings the tools, the process and the experience to avoid the trial and error phase that kills most in house attempts. The key is finding one that's transparent about what they're actually doing rather than just sending monthly reports full of numbers that don't connect to revenue.
