Collaborate

So you want to really help get the fire started?
Frustrated that you have so much to offer the project?
This is your home. Here you will soon find a range of projects related to the MFMP. Each mini project will have a defined goal and the mode of working will be live and open.

How do I take part?

  • Set up a Gmail account
  • Register on the QuantumHeat forum and using your Gmail address
  • Put yourself forward for a particular project giving an overview of the skills you have relevant to the project by sending us a mail using the green "+" to the right or from within the document itself at the top upper right (include your Gmail address in both cases).

You will then be given access to the LIVE linked google docs associated with the mini project and be able to start collaborating.

People who are not actively working on the mini project can still watch the projects documents evolve and do research and post contributions in the comments.

Temperature Measurement

Scritto da Robert Greenyer on .

We would like to know what people consider the best way to accurately measure temperatures for our experiments. We are typically measuring temperatures in the range 0 - 500 degrees. We would like to have coherent for and against arguments for the use of certain methods and all of the various things to consider when using the proposed solutions like:

  • accuracy over a range of temperatures
  • effects of gasses on the materials used
  • price
  • coupling methods
  • acquisition frequency response
  • wiring complications

Please consider participating in this mini project, the working document is linked below. Please always include sources for your information / suggested products.

Given that it’s Xmas, is McDonald’s open or no? The one here where I live is definitely closed on Christmas day.
you'll think they'd involve some sort of special deal
going on in a period like this!

@Steve

Seems like you are more than qualified to do a literature review... In science - this is where people trawl previous authors papers for methods, protocols or results and try to support an idea or hypothesis.

In the case of temperature measurement - there maybe many insights hidden in previous LENR research or in other web resources that you could explore and add into this document with links to the resources. Then others could come along and see if any were appropriate.

LENR is so multi-disciplin ary that it needs a big effort to sort the wheat from the chaff.

Hello Robert,
I considered joining the project but my knowledge is probably more general than specific.
I have 35 years experience in the energy industry - including Coal, Oil and Natural Gas.
I am HNC qualified in Electrical Engineering and ONC in Instruments.
Most of my working life has been at Technician level and covered engineering, maintenance and production.
I have a decent understanding of the Sciences and a thirst for knowledge - especially anything to do with new technology.

Regards,

Steve.

You need to consider Joules -Thompsom effect when re-charging with gas at high pressure across a restrictor i.e. A regulator.
