me356 looking for assistance to plot data from high Lithium content run

Written by Robert Greenyer on .

me356 has been doing some fast tests with added Lithium and here is the time stamped stop frame of the pressure data:

https://goo.gl/v0r4Gr

You will need to download the video to see the time stamp bottom right.

And here is the CSV of the data from the run.

https://goo.gl/9ESuJH

He says:-

"The most interesting part starts after 2015-09-06-10-30. This is evidence that we are going in the very good way.

Hopefully somebody ... will put the pressure readings into plot along with rest of the data to clearly show how it was triggered."

Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iPad and tested to see if it can survive a 25 foot drop, just so
she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now destroyed
and she has 83 views. I know this is completely
off topic but I had to share it with someone!

@All

Thanks for your kind words. Ecco is fine, I am speaking with him.

Many people find they need a break from things in their life that they are passionate about to take stock and re-balance.

We have been running for over 3 years now and as Ecco has Identified a number of times of late, people are re-discovering information that has already been put forward on this site previously.

This is such a multi-disciplin ary field and amazing aggregators of information like ECCO are key to finding patterns in the noise, but sometimes the noise can be too much and the compulsion to decipher waring on the body and mind.

Sometimes I wish I were a machine, an entity that only needs power and spare parts to continue to function 24/7 - but the reality is I am not and neither are we all, we are biological and regardless of how much we desire to function at full capacity indefinitely, something will give sooner or later.

The good thing is that we are able to recover quickly. The search for the New Fire is a marathon, not a sprint - moreover it is a relay race where each of us can take up the baton, sometimes in parallel to reach the finish line. Ryan shared the baton for a good while and still cheers on from the sidelines and helps keep HUGNet working for those that use it (Alan, Mathieu) whilst he acts to support his family.

The reality is there are many more open experimentalist s sharing experiences now than at any time in this fields history.

We'll see Ecco soon enough.

@robert greenyer. I hope you have eccos phone number just in case something really exiting happens I am sure he wouldn't mind checking back in if it is significant. Also how long has this site been going seems like I started on it about the same time as Ecco but not for sure he may have been involved much longer though he will be missed. Also what ever happened to Ryan hunt haven't seen him on here in a while? I can totally go along with Ecco on time spent thinking about this I personally will be driving to a certain place down the road and catch my self miles on down a different road and not remember any of it . Good thing I live in a tiny town who knows we're I would end up.

Ecco's is certainly one of the great contributors in this LENR open science community but even great people need to take a break sometimes. I wish him well and look forward to seeing his posts again when he is ready.

I wonder if the following link is relevant to the discussion? :

spacedaily.com/.../...

The article it self is about chemical catalysing CO reactions using Platinum and Iron Oxides rather than LENR. But its discussion on the behaviour of the Iron is interesting especially the generation of nano structures such as holes, trenches and small islands.

@Ecco

Email from Celani

"About experiment progresses, we made SIGNIFICATIVE progress recently, increasing the amount of Fe (with further K addition) at the surfaces of the glassy sheaths."

Of course, Axil will like this too.

notice
Sorry guys, it looks like I haven't taken my meds lately and ended up acting like an idiot.... deleting all my posts.
I guess I need some rest, I have been dedicated like 234% to this lately. That's too much
Please relay this message to others, if they want to know.
Cheers

The E-Glass fibres I ordered have yet to arrive.

Having Boron in theory would not be a bad thing - but either version looks good.

@Stephen: Thanks for that link, interesting. It looks like the presence and loading of hydrogen is important in Celani's case. It might be related as it doesn't need a junction and apparently a temperature gradient increases the effect, but it probably also has a different nature. Unfortunately not many details are available yet on these findings. The conclusions in the Celani paper I previously linked add some more information:

Quote:
From our observations and experiences we deduce that anomalous heat excess and spontaneous voltage generation are somehow related to the following conditions, or at least to some of them:

* Temperature as large as possible, obviously avoiding material sintering.
* Large Hydrogen absorption/adsorption by means of catalytic materials, i.e. nanomaterials.
* Hydrogen flux as large as possible from regions at high concentration to regions at lower concentration.
* Presence of elements with Hydrogen concentration increasing with temperature, like Fe.
* Presence of non-equilibrium conditions as large as possible: this is the main condition for getting any type of thermal or electrical anomaly.

We highlight that wires with good performances in terms of heat excess showed remarkable values of spontaneous voltage. One key aspect to be clarified is the role of Strontium (Sr) in the generation of the spontaneous voltage. Supposing that the effect is due to some motion of electrons from the powered-wire toward the non-powered one, i.e. a thermionic emission or a process similar to it, an electron-emitting material like Sr (due to its small work function) might give a large contribution to it. Unfortunately, we performed no measurement of wire voltage for the old set-up with no Sr deposited on the glass sheaths and targeted tests are therefore needed.

@Ecco

I wonder if the Spin Seedbeck effect (or perhaps Spin Hall effect plays a part).

spacedaily.com/.../...

The Spin Seedbeck effect seems to generate electrical energy from thermal energy from magnetic waves even in insulating materials and uses materials of nano meters and micrometers thickness.

I wonder if this could occurring in LENR devices or perhaps in certain temperature domains say below or above the curie temperature of Nickel.

@Robert Greenyer: in the early days they were made of magnesia (MgO), later on primarily yttrium stabilized zirconia (YSZ). Actually Nernst lamps could be made of any sufficiently conductive ceramics suitable for long term operation at high temperature in air and of manageable electrical properties. Modern ones often use ceramics like Silicon Carbide for convenience since it's conducting at room temperature.

Interesting non-wikipedia source:

erittenhouse.org/.../...

Interesting excerpt:

Quote:
The Nernst lamp is now recognized as employing the first commercially-produced solid electrolyte, and as such is the progenitor of modern developments in solid oxide fuel cells
Bassignana mentioned these glowers in the context of the volume resistivity decreasing with temperature in ceramics like alumina, which he exploited in experiments involving catalysis activated by electric current. This is referring to the EPOC/NEMCA phenomenon I mentioned earlier.

If LENR occur by the catalytic production of condensed Rydberg Matter Hydrogen - let's pretend this is like Piantelli's H- for the sake of argument - then any method for enhancing this catalysis is useful.

axil axil also wrote on Nernst lamps, back in August (scroll down):

@Ecco

I saw his response and I think it is an interesting consideration.

Can we clarify what kind of ceramic was used in the lamps ... was it Alumina?

Then ... how are we to connect to it?

Could that be the value of the 3 phase... ie ... having conduction through as discussed between phases and giving the piantelli electrostatic field.

Recently I have suggested having one swagelok end connected to a conductor placed into the fuel and held at ground.

Also, with Al potentially gettering O2 and N2 - the aluminium : Li ratio could drop in to the desirable low melting point of the combined Li:Al mix.

@Ecco

You make some good arguments and I think we are getting to a clearer collective understanding.

I think also that Nickel Aluminium compounds could be temperature resistant and form a barrier to LiH action on the Nickel - controllable with heat. Perhaps it is desirable to first treat the nickel with Aluminium powder to ensure the location of Aluminium.

@JustaGuy/Ecco

There are some super inventive and motivated people out there who I am sure would make use of these various supplies if they had them. I have just received some of the same kind of Nickel Foil as Alan used and intend to get together a package of goodies to send to active open replicators.

@Bob (Re: Getter Pellets)

This [was]/is a great idea, Bob. I'm not sure why the idea was shelved/sidelin ed, but if some experimenter doesn't have a separate heat control area, they could try to strategically place the pellet near the edge of the heating zone (if such a place exists), and try to manipulate any residual gas pressure that way. It would be tricky, though!
